When I was a child, I drowned. Late at night, during fits of sleep paralysis and lucid dreaming, Beth visits me, just as she has since childhood - a reminder that I am on borrowed time. In these moments, no words are needed; her presence alone speaks volumes.

Last night, I did dream that my dead love came in

So softly she entered that her feet made no din

And she turned her head to me and this she did say

"It will not be long, love, till our wedding day"
